“Unfortunately they left me in the kennel at the age of 10, blind, overweight and alone,” said the Facebook message.
“Since they took care of me, I have lost more than 13 kg, so I would like to have a new family to help me on this journey to lose weight.
As you can see, I have no eyes; I had to lose them because they caused me a lot of pain.
“I don’t need much in life, just a warm and pleasant home to enjoy my last years.”
The Facebook post went viral when Dumpling won millions of hearts on social networks. Labrador Rescue was flooded with 63 offers in two days to adopt Dumpling.
“Our little dumpling has become a huge star on social networks, history has been shared by our followers, celebrities, news sites, and it was overwhelming!
Dumpling is now being installed in his new home with the Ingebrigtsen family in southeast Queensland after a successful meeting and greeting on Saturday.

She has already made best friends with her new brother, a chocolate farmer named Bob, who has made the new addition to the family very welcome.
“She is cute, we are very grateful that we had the opportunity to look after her and give her the wonderful life she deserves,” the new owner, Debbie Ingebrigtsen, told Seven News.
The caretaker of Dumpling, Ashleigh, was overwhelmed by the adoption offers, but said the Ingebrigtsens “stayed with her.”
“She’s not the first adoption dog I’ve had, its number 37, so I’ve never had such a response. I think it’s great that they have a different dog and treat him as if he were a family member.”
